Here is one of my favorite poems.

 God Hath Not Promised

God hath not promised skies always blue
Flower strewn pathways, all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labour, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing kindness, undying love.

God hath not promised we shall not know
Toil and temptations, trouble and woe;
He hath not told us we shall not bear
Many a burden, many a care.

But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labour, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing kindness, undying love.

God hath not promised smooth roads and wide,
Swift, easy travel, needing no guide;
Never a mountain, rocky and steep,
Never a river turbid and deep.

But God hath promised strength for the day,

 How is everyone doing? I have been keeping busy.
  Not much as been going on.. In a couple week i will be going with my sister jenny and the kids to MO to Josiah graduations.
Here our some verses i  have been thinking about.

 ⁴Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
 ⁵Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
 ⁶I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

 ⁸Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
 ⁹From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
 ¹⁰They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
 ¹¹They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
 ¹²Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

I think last year was the best year and yet the hardiest .  The lord as been really working in my life changing me into who  he wants me to be.
well i should go. Just thought i would share that with you all. I have a lot to write about but dont know how to write down here. So i guess that will have to do. Well you all have a great week and take care.

pray request

hello

 Here is a pray request for my brother-in-law josiah.
Just would like you all to keep Josiah in your prayers. He called last  night and said that he had a stress fracture in his pelvis and is on crutches (he doesn't want to be, but said that they made him). He doesn't know what is going on yet. He said the worst case would be that he got put back 2 weeks or a month!   but pray that what is best happens! Thanks!
